A really good app, it saves time, and since I can pause it any time, taking notes is easy too. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that in some books a word here and there is read out incorrectly, and in places it sounds robotic.

You don't have to listen to the whole book, but it isn't a dense 30-minute recording that leaves you with nothing at the end either. It gets to the point, yet there are lots of examples that make the audio more colourful. It also explains connections, for example how certain books on a similar topic differ from each other, or you get more insight into the author's background, which makes the book easier to digest. I like it. I recommend it to you too.

I love the app! It summarises books quickly and clearly, and gives me a little something to think about every day. I've lost count of how many books I've bought because of it 😂, because after a summary I got curious about the whole book. This is a miracle. There are loads of books on all kinds of topics. I like that only the essence of a book is highlighted, so 20–30 minutes a day is plenty to read the book's main points and message. You can not only read, you can also set goals for yourself. It's a perfect app for self-improvement and learning. And it's well worth those few thousand forints a month, since you're spending it on yourself, on your own growth. Not to mention that the books available in this app would cost more to begin with if you wanted to buy them in a shop. A few remarks: - It would be good if you could highlight text like in the iPhone "Books" app. - It would be useful if you could somehow mark how far you've read in the book, because sometimes something comes up while reading and you have to stop halfway. - It's great that they distil the essence of a 300–400-page book and make it possible to learn its message and essence in 20–30 minutes. But I don't think that's enough; I don't believe a 300–400-page book can be shrunk so much that we fully understand its essence in half an hour. It could easily be 1–2 hours of reading time, with much more of the essence in it.

I really love the app, it's extremely useful. I've run into a bug or two (after listening to a book it didn't record it as listened), but apart from that I love it. I'd be really grateful, though, if the books could also be listened to in German.

My honest opinion

The goals tab that came with the new update was a great idea, a literally life-changing feature! 🤩🔥 The book summaries are really useful, especially for books that are hard to get hold of anyway or aren't available in Hungarian. You can also gain a lot from the challenges, but for that it's worth building the app into your daily routine! One thing is for sure: I'll always recommend this instead of Netflix haha!!! 😎

Saving challenges and courses

Hi, I've been reading your email newsletters (if I can call them that) for a while, and I've seen loads of videos about the app, so I thought I'd try it. I've been using it for 2 days and I was surprised how well the books are summarised. One tiny piece of feedback: it would be good if challenges and courses could be saved like individual books, because that would save me time too, if I could find a given challenge or course with one tap instead of scrolling around.

The technical support is fair. At first I had problems with the app, but as it turned out, the inconvenience was due to technical development. It's a positive thing that they're developing it. They also apologised for the inconvenience without any fuss. So I was pleasantly surprised. The content is really good. Listening while I work, it's as if I were going to university, but meanwhile I can do my own things. One or two recordings are a bit monotonous in their dynamics and sound, so they don't convey the message as well as they could. But in every other respect it's a splendid little app

Really good books. It passes on the knowledge in 20–30 minutes that would take hours by reading the book. The books shed light on many things, such as which of our skills are worth developing further, whether with a book or a course. I only use the reading option.

Really worth it!

I downloaded it because it has self-improvement audiobooks, which have always been one of my interests. On top of that, it only has the essence, so it saves much more time too. I want to become the best version of myself, and I think reading self-improvement books is an essential part of that. The books I liked best were the ones that taught me how to control myself above all, and the ones that taught me how to talk to people. Another one I really liked, if I remember right its Hungarian title is "Osztalékból szabadon", gave me some nice knowledge about this whole investing topic. I could also mention "Can't Hurt Me", and many others I listened to. Overall I'm really satisfied with it, and I think it's a good idea that there's something like this in Hungary.

Why BookBase is useful

Hi! Unfortunately I haven't used it for a while for personal reasons. But for as long as I used it, I really saw the benefit of everything. For a long time I didn't want to download it, because I figured I had enough time, I'd just read the book. At first I read the books in BookBase, but not much stuck. Then I got into the audiobooks, and that's what gave me a push forward too. Just to give an example: if I'm unmotivated in the morning, I always think of the soldier who made his bed every morning and the useful advice there, but that's just one of many things that stuck. The team has done a fantastic thing!

I owe it so much, I've learned lots of useful things about money, psychology and how to treat people. My mentality has changed, and I feel much better! Basically, I've understood the why and the how of things, so I see things and their meaning clearly. First and foremost it straightened out my way of thinking, and from there one thing built on another – at least that's how I noticed it, and I'm incredibly grateful for that!

Best app for growth

I hated reading, but I knew I'd have to learn/grow from somewhere, + reading in itself is a really good habit. KK is what made me love this whole "genre", and I realised that reading is really great if you read a book that interests you and is relevant to you. It helped me enormously, because I could filter out which books really interest me and which less so. That way I could always add books to my own "library" that I'm sure to be interested in.

Hi all! I've only used the free trial so far, but I already really like it! I listened to loads of books on self-awareness, which helped me enormously. And meanwhile I didn't spend long hours reading! I can only recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet!

I've been a member for 2 years and haven't regretted it for a minute. I think there's so much power in all of this that it can't be put into words. This is what set me on the path of self-improvement, and now of business and investing. I'm really grateful for it. Basically I downloaded it because I think self-improvement is important. It takes much more time to read a book than to listen to its essence, and that's what I really liked. I also wanted to improve, e.g. in communication, and lots of useful books helped me with that.

I didn't like reading, but I loved listening to music, and self-improvement mattered to me too, and since I didn't want to read, I tried it, and it's incredibly concise, it gets the essence across, and it actually stuck with me because I wasn't bored. I was mostly interested in financial awareness topics, so not only my knowledge but also my communication improved, since through it I could talk with people I'd had nothing in common with before. Before I downloaded this app I was completely addicted to gaming. I decided to quit gaming and step onto the path of self-improvement, but I didn't know how to start. Good concept, ever-growing selection

BookBase offers shortened versions of more and more non-fiction (and many other) books, which are really needed these days. It doesn't replace the experience of reading a whole book, but I think it's definitely an excellent concept.

I've been using it for more than a year, and it has gone through a huge amount of development. Personally my favourite thing is that the whole of OM and BookBase is built on the knowledge of the shortened books in it, which makes it easier to understand in practice too

There are loads of books too, but personally I'd expand the books further, by category for example; what I mean is that people interested in psychology, for example, should have more to read. BookBase was a really good innovation. Before I found it I bought the original books and had hardly any time to read, so I didn't find it useful, but after I subscribed to BookBase I got access to loads of books, shortened, with tasks so you don't just listen but also understand the message. BookBase – a brilliant idea with brilliant execution. The best app in Hungary. I incredibly like that it's not only self-improvement books that are available. Of course there are some convenience shortcomings, but those will be solved over time anyway. The yellow, white, black and grey colour combinations really suit it. Of course it's nowhere near having EVERY self-improvement book. I'd recommend it to everyone without hesitation.

An audiobook has lots of positive advantages, and right now this is the best.

BookBase is without doubt the Netflix of successful people. It's almost frightening how much knowledge we get for 4,000 Ft a month. Sometimes there are bugs in the app (personally I had problems logging in), but the OM team is very helpful, I got an answer straight away when I wrote to them about the bug. If you want to grow, BookBase is essential, as is listening to the OnlineMarketinges podcast series.

I'm satisfied with it. Since the update the system has become really smooth and easy to use. The listening feature together with reading is extremely effective. The only thing I miss is slowing down the audiobook, because sometimes it's too fast and I can't process the information I hear.

One of the best self-improvement apps, if not the best. I've been using it for almost half a year and there are still things to discover, they haven't run out. From building a habit, through behaviour and changing your way of thinking, all the way to the books of professional, successful people, you can get to know them in just a quarter of an hour. After that you "only" have to master what you've learned.

I'm Artúr, I'm 13 at the moment, and I've been using BookBase since December. The books are shortened really well. There are tons of books in it, you can't get bored of it because there's always another one, a better one, a newer one... There's SOMETIMES a small issue with the grammar, but you can easily skip over it, it's nothing serious, just an inflection error or something, you can barely notice it and you can understand the whole thing perfectly. Value for money it's really, really, really worth it, because there's so much knowledge in it.
